Perfectly comfortable and strategic location short walk to the airport, Siena in early October 2016 and a local restaurant called Fontegusta which was truly authentic. Also, in the centre of the city. Good sized rooms with a safe, a mini bar and a sofa bed.

Would recommend for a momentary visit
Spacious room, comfortable bathroom, and the breakfast was generous and yummy. The short walk from the train station was very convenient for exploring nearby attractions.

When we arrived at this hotel we liked light & very clean room, & window viev was really fantastic - we saw a cite panorama through it. Breakfast was very various. Stuff on receprion talked english very well. Also the hotel has excellent location cause it's in 5 minutes walking to downtown. I'd recomend it to my friends
One moment i was surprised is that one visitor came to breakfast with a dog. This dog was middle size. As for me i like dogs & i wasn't shocked but i saw some people were disturbed & they didn't like it.

Hotel Italia provided me with a free upgrade to a "superior" room, was very friendly with all of my questions and requests, and served a delicious breakfast.
Slightly difficult to find on foot from the train station. The signs don't take you all the way there. It's a bit more of a walk than advertised, but this could be solved with a taxi or better map than I had.

In Cortona is was right inside the city, but we dared to drive up the narrow lane to drop off our luggage and got free parking outside the city centre. In Siena the hotel was right outside the city gates so we could walk and parking was inside a lot at the back of the hotel. We really enjoyed out stay at both sites.
The shower stall broke and we had to have someone come fix it. They did right away and all was well.

We booked this hotel at the very last minute and knew it would be a 20 minute walk to the center of Siena. It is also located on a main street, a little noisy. Our traveling companions did comment on the noise in the street during the night, but we did not hear any noise at all. However, the staff was courteous, the room was very spacious and very clean. I was disappointed that my computer was unable to connect to the internet [I did not have any problems anywhere else in Italy]; however, reception gave me a free access ticket to compensate for the money I did have to spend. The breakfast, which was included, was terrific. All in all, if I were to stay outside the center of the city, I was very pleased with the hotel and would return.
I thought this hotel was a very good choice even though it is located outside the city. If your walking ability is limited, remember it is a 20 minute walk, which I found to be the only real drawback.
